Privacy first

Your practice stays in control

We know patient privacy comes first in healthcare. Here’s how this works.

You decide what’s included

Before anything is shared, you agree on exactly which files and dates are in scope. Want to leave out patient records or anything covered by privacy law? Tell us on the call, and we’ll confirm with the buyer whether your practice still qualifies.

Personal details are removed

The data buyers say they remove or change names, contact details and other sensitive information in the copy before it is used.

Your own advisor has the final word

We don’t give legal or privacy advice. We encourage every practice to check with its own compliance or legal advisor before signing anything.

How it works

Three simple steps

A free 20-minute call

We explain in plain English how data licensing works and check whether your practice meets a buyer’s criteria. No files are needed for the call.

You apply through our link

If you’re a good fit, we help you apply with the right data buyer. It takes a few minutes, and you can stop at any point before you sign.

The buyer reviews and makes an offer

The buyer reviews your practice. If it’s a match, they make you an offer you can accept or decline. Not every practice is accepted.

Who qualifies

Is your practice a good fit?

Not sure? That’s what the call is for. We’ll tell you honestly, and if it’s not a fit, there’s no cost and no obligation.

15 or more staff

Larger groups with 30 or more staff can qualify with a second buyer.

Based in the US, Canada, the UK or Australia

These are the countries the buyers currently accept.

Why it’s free

Free for your practice. Here’s why.

DataValue Gateway is paid a referral fee by the data buyer, never by your practice, and only if your practice is accepted. We tell every practice this up front.

We are an independent referral service. We are not employees or representatives of any data buyer. Our job is to explain the opportunity honestly, check whether you qualify, and help you apply if it makes sense.

Questions

Answers to common questions

What about patient privacy?

You decide exactly which files and dates are included before anything is shared, and you can ask to leave out patient records. The buyers say they remove or change personal details in the copy. Please check with your own compliance or legal advisor before signing anything.

Is it really free?

Yes. Your practice pays nothing. We are paid a referral fee by the data buyer, and only if your practice is accepted.

Do I lose my files?

No. Buyers license a copy. Your original files and systems stay with you.

What kind of records do buyers want?

Everyday business records, mostly in English: internal email, documents, policies and procedures, training materials, and scheduling, admin and billing records. Exactly what’s included is agreed with you first.

How much could it be worth?

It depends on the buyer’s own review of your practice and records. We can’t promise any amount, and not every practice is accepted.

What if we’re not a fit?

We’ll tell you honestly on the call. There’s no cost and no obligation.

Who are you?
